The double rooms have a smoking option for those who prefer it, allowing for a bit of personal flair during the stay. The massage chair in some rooms provides a nice way to unwind after a long day of exploring.

The rooms are quite tight, suitable mainly for a good night's sleep rather than lounging around. Only one pillow per double bed feels a bit sparse, and the soundproofing isn't what it claims, which can be an issue for light sleepers. The onsen is also on the smaller side—two people make it feel crowded, which can be uncomfortable.  

I had a delightful stay at Green Rich Hotel Iwakuni Ekimae. The location was superb, just a short walk from the train station, making travel easy. The breakfast provided a lovely variety, including cooked Japanese dishes that were both tasty and satisfying.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The bed was surprisingly comfortable, allowing for much better sleep than I expected. The breakfast served a lovely variety of choices, perfect for fueling up before a day of exploring. The location was incredibly convenient, just a short five-minute walk to the station, making it easy to visit the Kintai Bridge area. However, the onsen was quite small, so be prepared for that if you're planning to take a dip.

the green rich hotel is a great find! it's cheaper and cleaner than many places, with larger rooms and a tasty breakfast selection. the location is perfect, just a short walk from the train station, and there's a wonderful izakaya right next door.
